From the ad:
I am selling my Beautiful Model A Pickup. It has been restored. The Restoration was completed
within the last Two Years. Please take a look at all the pictures. I have priced the car fairly.
If you are looking at Roadster Pickups you know how rare the 29 is and is the most sought
out of the years 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, 28, 29, 30, 31. It is definitely a head turner
and people stop and ask questions at all the shows. Thanks for taking the time to look.
The color is a Rich Dark Blue as you can see in the pictures it is very nice.
The wheels and supports have fresh Powder Coating. You won’t be disappointed.
If you are interested please give me a call and I will answer any questions and set up a showing.
I am willing to consider Trades and Cash. What do you have?

What about a Packard?
I don’t remember you posting about them much

Ooh, and wood wheels too! Not bad, but the big upright touring car bodies don’t really do it for me at this point.

I think the Jarod Rose Heirarchical Swag Table has 40s-50s Packards rating relatively high in their segment, but losing out in CCCA Vintage and Pre-War to Pierce Arrow and (conditionally) Lincoln.

So would I, but I can’t afford to play at a higher level. I really can’t even afford this one, but I can dream. That Pierce would do nicely indeed, but at least Ford A’s are still in an attainable price range. I love the fender mounted lights on the Pierce Arrows of the day.

My wife and I have recently been talking about how cool it would be to have something from the 20s and use it a couple hours each weekend to do wedding liveries (eg drive people from their venue to the airport, etc). Make a quick couple hundred bucks and class up somebody’s wedding photos forever, helping offset the cost of upkeep.

Seems like a fairly accurate chart. Paint scheme on this guy is EPIC though.

I want a Model T so badly. I’ll be ‘that guy’ that drives a Model T when it’s snowing outside.

It hasn’t, however, gone Full Ruxton. Never go Full Ruxton.

Indeed Packard is excellent. However my heart cannot ignore the fender mounted headlights and archer who’s prominent accuracy manages to pierce my heart with his arrows.

I don’t care WHAT you call that first one, I’d drive the shit out of it.
And throw things at the peasants from inside my wonderful vehicle.

They are cool, I just feel they’re a touch...bug eyed because of it.

It is an acquired taste. However not every Pierce had the fender headlights, they could be ordered without them.
